730am registration for an 8am start. Once the poules have started, no late comers will be able to join.
$40 fee for non-GCFA members. All participants from interstate must be registered with www.QFA.org.au for insurance purposes under club fencer or higher.
(The $40 fee is already included for currrent GCFA members).
- Age eligibility is determined at 1 January 2025.
- A competitor can only enter one age group only.
- Max players per age group is 14.
- Max 2 pistes can be used for adequate space.
- Club level gear only required. Any epee blade length can be used.
- Gold, Silver and 2 bronze medalists for each age group.
- Mixed poules, DE split by gender if ≥3 girls.
- Poules: 3 minutes to 5 points
- Direct Eliminations for 8-12 age group: 10 points, 2 x3 minute rounds
- Direct Eliminations for 13-17 age group: 15 points, 3 x3 minute rounds

Our facility is located at 2/ 24 Ereton Drive, Arundel, QLD 4216. We are fully airconditioned with 3 permanent pistes and appropriate scoring equipment.
Weapon: - any size and FIE / non-FiE accepted
Clothes: All participants must wear appropriate protective gear and fencing whites: mask, gloves, jacket, underplastron, long socks and breeches (or appropriate trackpants). Only on piste testing is performed, no pre-comp weapons control. FIE and non-FIE club gear is acceptable but must have the current mask requirements.
Car parking: We share our facility with other businesses and as such, we have limited parking. Vehicles must use on street parking.
Food and drinks: Please bring own food and drinks. Eating is only allowed in the parent waiting area / reception area or outside.
CCTV: We have CCTV in the parking and piste / exercise area for safety and security purposes. Videos and images from these CCTVs are regularly erased and are not used for social media purposes.
Photography and Videography: Please only take photos and videos of your own fencers.
Off limit areas: There are exercise equipment in the area that belong to the co-located physiotherapist and personal trainor. These are not to be used at anytime during the event.
Respect and Responsibility in Sport: We expect that all fencers, coaches, and parents / guardians afford respect to each other at all times. We are all responsible for keeping fencing safe and enjoyable for everyone.
